This part- time (under 20 hours per week) position is responsible for providing academic and student support activities of the MBA program on campus and international locations.  It will also involve providing operational support to the Program Director for Concordia University's MBA program.  This position reports to the Director of the MBA Program in the Batterman School of Business Administration and is located in Mequon, Wisconsin.  

  • Maintains student documentation of degree progress
  • Assists in coordination of study abroad, overseas exchange and dual degree programs
  • Assists in programming activities of international constituents and student visitors to the SBA
  • Coordinates the request to graduate process and graduation visits on campus
  • Plans meetings and note taking
  • Coordinates directly with outside constituents of MBA programs (China MBA representatives, Upper Austria University staff, etc.)
  • Maintains the MBA faculty contract process at and between campus and center locations, including international center locations
  • Maintains collaborative relations with CIC international staff; directors, admissions counselors
  • Maintains confidentiality and respects FERPA regulations
  • Assists in the coordination of student worker activities
  • Assists in coordination of study abroad, overseas exchange and dual degree programs  
  • Available to work Monday through Friday until 6pm, with occasional evening hours beyond 6pm
  • Periodic travel outside of the country

  • Knowledge of Chinese language and culture
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of computer and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Access,
  • Knowledge and skill in the use social media sites
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of SCT Banner and Blackboard
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Christian faith and Concordia University mission
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday until 6pm, with occasional evening hours beyond 6pm
  • Periodic travel outside of the country

Education, Experience and Training

A business, education, counseling or student personnel undergraduate degree is required; an MBA is preferred. Mandarin bilingual speaking persons are encouraged to apply.  Highly qualified applicants will also have prior experience in student advising or admissions at either the undergraduate or graduate level.

 Compensation and Benefits

This is a half-time position. Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience.
