Concordia University seeks applicants for the part-time School of Nursing Equipment and Supply Manager position in the School of Nursing (SON) in Mequon, WI. The SON Equipment and Supply Manager is responsible for physical management of the Nursing Simulation and Skills Labs that support courses and curriculum in the nursing programs. This position reports to the Skills Lab Faculty Coordinator and further through the Dean of the School of Nursing.


  • Maintain inventory in the Simulation and Skills labs.
  • Order equipment and supplies for the Simulation and Skills labs
  • Order equipment and supplies for faculty as requested
  • Maintain physical environment of labs
  • Maintain Skills lab equipment
  • Assist in maintenance of Simulation lab equipment
  • Set up skills demonstration and testing supplies
  • Identify and communicate budgetary needs in the Skills and Simulation laboratories to the coordinators
  • Work cooperatively with coordinators and lab staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as email, websites and other standard office technology
  • Excellent organizational abilities, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work within a team
  • Strict attention to details, and the ability to follow up independently
  • Friendly and "customer oriented" when dealing with students, faculty and staff from other areas of CU, and vendors
  • Health care background or knowledge of medical terminology helpful

Education and/or Training

High School diploma or GED required. Two to three years office experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Tuition benefits are available for employees; however, there are no other benefits or paid time off associated with this part-time position.
