Concordia University Wisconsin seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences of the School of Pharmacy. This is a twelve-month contract with the University. Full-time faculty fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world via teaching, scholarship and service. Faculty members participate in curriculum development and assessment, and advise and mentor students while serving as Christian role-models.  This position reports to the Dean of the School of the School of Pharmacy and is located at the Mequon, WI campus.

  • Teaching Pharm.D. students in the Pharmaceutics course sequence
  • Teaching M.S. students in the Master of Pharmaceutical/Chemical Product Development program
  • Advising and mentoring Pharm.D. and M.S. students
  • Collaborating with scientists within the School and with other colleges and universities
  • Providing service to others, i.e. participation in School committees and external organizations

Position Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Drug Discovery and Development, Physical Chemistry or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exemplary teaching or research scholarship in; pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, formulation science, drug delivery, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.
  • Experience teaching professional students (e.g., Pharm.D., M.S., Ph.D.)
  • Demonstrate the potential to attract external funding
  • Teaching and research interests complimentary to those existing within the Department and University

Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time, faculty, exempt position. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
