Concordia University seeks qualified applicants to fill two full-time (12 month) faculty positions as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work located in the School of Health Professions. The Department is seeking two individuals for positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be mission oriented and committed to excellence in teaching.  The department has a CSWE accredited BSW program, and a new MSW program in the process of initial accreditation with CSWE. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the Christian mission of the University, and the ability to integrate a biblical worldview with the practice of social work.

Education and Qualifications

An MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and an earned doctorate, preferably in Social Work or a closely related field, is required. ABD will be considered with a letter from the dissertation chairperson and an identified date for defense; a minimum of five years post-MSW practice experience is required. All Assistant Professor positions require a doctoral degree.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, 12 month position. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
