Concordia University seeks applications for the full-time, exempt position of ERP Systems Analyst. This position is a member of the Administrative Computing Team and is responsible for assisting with the management, maintenance, continual improvement and upgrading of systems related to administrative computing. This position reports to the Director of Administrative Computing and is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely development and ongoing maintenance of Ellucian Banner system.
  • Assist projects related to Ellucian Banner and product support.
  • Extract data, report creation, and analysis of systems for Ellucian Banner solutions.
  • Implement and design business workflow processes to increase efficiencies.
  • Perform as liaison between functional teams, IT Application Support, IT Development and DBA teams on system issues, enhancements and projects.
  • Report writing and query creation in relation to Ellucian Banner source system data.
  • Research, document and resolve technical issues relating to Ellucian Banner.
  • Evaluate new Ellucian Banner functionality and suggest system enhancements to achieve optimum system performance and to streamline processes.
  • Update and manage Ellucian Banner application system documentation.
  • Develop detailed documentation for system enhancements and business cases assisting enhancement requests.
  • Prepare process and user training documentation for Ellucian Banner.
  • Interact with Oracle Support and/or Ellucian Support on issues requiring technical assistance requests.
  • Assist in coordination of Ellucian Banner testing and release processes.
  • Provide ad hoc training on system functionality as requested by business owners.
  • Troubleshoot ERP problems and provide resolutions to the user's satisfaction. Work with Administrative systems team if needed DBA, Programmer/Analyst, Business Analysts, Data Warehouse Analyst and Director to resolve reported production issues.
  • Maintain User Security access to Ellucian Banner.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and maintain 3rd party products and data integrations to Ellucian Banner.
  • Maintain, develop, and test system integrations between Banner and existing third-party software applications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Ellucian Banner, Ellucian Recruiter, Microsoft Dynamics CRM; Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Server Virtualization (VMWare); experience with Linux and Windows, SQL/PL/SQL
  • Superior technical knowledge and experience in operating systems, software, and hardware for personal computers is required
  • Knowledge and skill with multiple operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux, and Macintosh is required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, organize work, and meet deadlines in a busy office setting
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate ingenuity and prompt action in resolving problems, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills are required

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS degree from an accredited four-year college or university; and 2 - 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position.  Starting wage is dependent on individual qualifications and experience.  Concordia health, disability, and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees and eligible dependents.  Tuition benefits are also available for employees and qualified dependents.
