Concordia University (CU) invites applications for multiple part-time positions of Adjunct Faculty to teach face-to-face undergraduate courses on our Mequon, WI campus. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated instructors who exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner. 

Concordia University adjunct faculty fulfill the university's mission to help students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world via teaching, scholarship and service.We seek dynamic, creative, scholar/practitioners committed to quality teaching, student success, and scholarship.

Courses available include:

  • Business Communication (Fall and Spring semesters, between 8am-4pm)
  • General Business (Fall and Spring semesters, between 8am-4pm)
  • Human Resource Management (Fall and Spring semesters, between 8am-4pm)
  • Management (Fall and Spring semesters, between 8am-4pm)
  • Marketing (Fall and Spring semesters, between 8am-4pm and 6pm-9pm)
  • Governmental/Non-Profit Accounting (Spring semester only, 6pm-9pm)

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high quality undergraduate education
  • Teach and facilitate small and large group experiential learning activities in a blended learning environment
  • Attend department, college, and university faculty meetings and participate in other university activities
  • Keep current in theory and practice related to program content
  • Must be willing to work evenings

Education/Training/Skills

  • A Master's degree in a related field is required in addition to five years of work experience
  • Must possess effective interpersonal skills - able to work with diverse, student populations in close, academic, and professional working relationships
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented, and collaborative environment
  • Evidence of teaching college level courses preferred
