Concordia University seeks qualified applicants to fill the full-time (12 month) clinical faculty position for the Department of Social Work residing in the School of Health Professions. We seek a mission-oriented individual who is committed to excellence in social work education. Responsibilities include 1) Developing new field sites and maintaining field placements for BSW and MSW students 2) Placing and monitoring students in field internships 3) Developing learning contracts for students placed in field sites 3) Teaching field seminar classes 4) Teaching academic classes 5) Participating in faculty meetings 6) Community Service, and 7) scholarship.

The successful candidate will have a strong Christian commitment demonstrated by an ability to integrate a biblical worldview with the practice of social work. The Department of Social Work is a dynamic growing department with an accredited BSW program, and an MSW program in Candidacy. The program has students on the Mequon campus, and in an accelerated BSW program located in Miller Parkway and Green Bay. Start date for employment will be August 1, 2019.

Education and Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have an MSW from a CSWE accredited program. An earned doctorate or ABD, preferably in Social Work, is preferred but not required. A minimum of 5 years post MSW practice experience required.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, faculty, exempt position. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
