The Center Student Success Advisor is responsible for providing counseling and support to students. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position. This position is housed at the Mequon Center location and reports to the Mequon Center Director / Coordinator of Center Operations.


  • Provide superior (5-star) customer service to students, faculty, and constituents
  • Work with admissions team for successful hand off to assist new students
  • Assist newly accepted center and blended students as identified by center director with orientation, registration of classes, and assessing technology needs
  • Counsel students on academic policies, practices, and any student support services needs
  • Counsel students in their choice of program and courses
  • Conduct student academic planning toward degree completion
  • Monitor and submit graduation/program completion data
  • Focus on student retention by following up with students who have not registered at the beginning of each term
  • Utilize Banner and student retention system to assist in proactive outreach and intervention to students, and maintain student records
  • Track student attendance in coursework and perform outreach to absentees
  • Manage course enrollment loads
  • Present Prior Learning Credit Workshops
  • Some nights and weekends may be required.
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Knowledge and skill in use of computer and software common to the academic setting (outlook, MS Office, etc.)

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree is required. Prior experience in areas of customer service and higher education are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, salaried position. Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience. Concordia health, disability and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees and their eligible dependents.
