Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a faculty member in Computer Science for fall 2021 with an additional technical background in 3D printer technology and/or an expertise in computer programming leading to the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses. This position is located at the Mequon, WI campus. The position is in the Department of Computer Science in the School of Arts and Sciences. CUW is a Christian University (LCMS) that emphasizes the integration of faith and learning in all areas. Concordia University full-time faculty members must be members of Christian congregations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate computer science courses
  • Run the Concordia University 3D Printer Maker Space
  • Be committed to student learning and professional development
  • Participation in peer-reviewed research and scholarly work
  • Student advising/meeting with students
  • Attending computer science program meetings

Education and Experience

A PhD in Computer Science or closely related field is preferred. Candidates with a specific background in 3D printer technology and/or computer programming are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a Masters degree in Computer Science or a similar field that are also willing to pursue a PhD in Computer Science will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits
