Concordia University is accepting applications for the position of Director of Dual Credit. This is a full-time exempt position that works with all aspects of Concordia's dual credit program.  This position is located in the Mequon area and reports to the Executive Director of Continuing and Distance Education.


  • Create plans for Dual Credit and school partnerships and be a liaison to high schools, associations and community about Concordia Promise
  • Establish, revise, streamline policies & procedures including inter-department procedures (campus admissions, billing, financial aid, registrar, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a DC handbook and internal operations manual
  • Work with Academic Advising to determine new courses to add
  • Instructional designer for dual credit online courses.
  • Work with marketing team to develop marketing tools, update and redesign websites
  • Solicit qualified instructors from other sources (high schools, LEA, etc.)
  • Handle details and explore possibilities related to requests for F2F courses at the high school campuses
  • Verify State Authorization with State Approval Coordinator
  • Work with DC team (MI rep, OSSA, Adm. Counselor, Orientation Facilitator, Online Librarian, etc.)
  • Conduct weekly meetings with OSSA and DC Admissions Counselor to coordinate timing and details of new student/new semester transition (including Orientation, library cards, student codes, registration, school and student communication, billing/financial aid timing)
  • Stay informed regarding state funding opportunities and establish procedures for state funding
  • Work directly with the undergraduate admissions teams of both CUAA and CUW to share student leads
  • Calculate information for monthly reports
  • Periodically update university officials with data and statistics
  • Attend conferences/webinars on relevant topics
    • ALSS
    • other DC topics/conferences (NACEP)
  • Handle any/all other DC topics/details
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge and skill in the use of a computer and all functions of Microsoft Office
  • Requires an excellent command of language, punctuation, grammar and writing skills
  • Able to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast paced office environment
  • Able to work an occasional evening or weekend.
  • Experience with secondary and higher education preferred.

Education and/or Training

Bachelor degree in a relevant field. Masters preferred

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position.  Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience.
