Concordia University invites applications for the full-time, exempt position of Admission Counselor School of Pharmacy. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the recruitment, admission, and student support activities of Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy.  The position reports to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions. This is a 12-month position and is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin Campus.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Admissions

  • Recruits prospective Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students for the program under the supervision of the Director of Recruitment and Admissions.
  • Assists with the management of PharmCAS/WebAdmit/Banner administration and all daily communications with prospective students, applicants, and accepted students for the PharmD program. .
  • Assists in prospective PharmD student recruitment and admissions activities, to include: coordinating events, visits and tours, contacting prospective students, facilitating interview days, and compiling and maintaining student admissions records and data.
  • Coordinates and assists with matriculation processes and services including information management and orientation.
  • Works with Director of Recruitment and Admissions to implement broader recruitment strategies.

Other Responsibilities

  • Availability to travel, both locally and nationally.
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends based on event schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Training

A Bachelor's degree is required. Experience in higher education, recruitment, admissions, or sales is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt position.  Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
